Start at Delhi, a renowned city being India’s dynamic capital city, is highlighted with attractions such as Red Fort, Qutub Minar, and India Gate. It is shown that Delhi has retained a cultural legacy of hundreds of years.
Next, travel to Agra and enjoy the UNESCO World Heritage site that symbolizes eternal love, the Taj Mahal. Agra also has the delicate artistry of the Itimad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb and Agra Fort.
Finally, explore the “pink city of India- Jaipur” which is famous for City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Amber Fort, and its vibrant bazaars. The Golden Triangle package provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness India’s varied cultures.
Itinerary
Day 1 - Delhi Arrival + Sightseeing
Arrival at Delhi Airport will be followed by welcome and transferred to hotel. Later sightseeing tour of old Delhi marked with ancient monuments, narrow streets and bustling bazaars. Visit Red Fort from outside. Visit Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, completed in 1658 by Shah Jahan who also built the Taj Mahal. Explore Chandani Chowk either on foot or manually-pulled rickshaw. It is the most famous market of “Old Delhi”. Raj Ghat, a sober memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, and Akshardham Temple are the next tourist attractions of Delhi to be visited. Akshardham is a marvellous piece of architecture. In the afternoon, continue the visit of “New Delhi”. You will be driven on the Rajpath, passage in front of the government buildings of the British era, designed by Lutyens, including the India Gate and the Presidential Palace. Then, advance to visit the imposing minaret of Qutub Minar. Overnight stay in Delhi hotel.
Day 2 - Delhi- Agra sightseeing tour
After breakfast Drive to Agra. On arrival at Agra, stop at tomb of It Mad ud Daula, popularly called Baby Taj. Agra tour guide will join you at tomb of It Mad-ud-Daula, a white marble mausoleum of Ghia’s Beg, father of the Mughal Empress Noor Jahan. It is said that Baby Taj was inspiration for Taj Mahal. Here in after, you are transferred to Agra hotel to check in, relax and further proceed on for visiting Agra Fort and enjoying sunset view of Taj Mahal from Mehtab Bagh across River Yamuna. After visiting Mehtab Bag, return to Agra hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3– Agra- Fatehpur Sikri- Abhaneri village-Jaipur
A tourist visiting Golden Triangle cherishes to be present in Taj Mahal complex at the time of sunrise as the marble monument of love is supposedly looks astonishingly mesmerizing. Keeping in view this desire of a guest, we planned to take you Taj Mahal 2nd day of Agra tour. In early morning, approximately around dawn hours, you will be taken by Agra tour to Taj Mahal. The time of sunrise has been purposefully chosen so that you could see the Taj Mahal when it looks most stunning and beautiful. Visit the world-famous Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is a huge white marble mausoleum, a symbol of eternal love, built by Shah Jahan and dedicated to his beloved Mumtaz Mahal. Emblem of India, this mausoleum is a jewel of architecture and one of the most famous monuments in the world.
Having seen India’s most visited monument, depart for Jaipur. On the way to Pink City of Rajasthan, stop at Fatehpur Sikri & Abhaneri village. Continue the drive towards Jaipur. Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, owes its nickname of “Pink City” to the pink paint that covers the buildings of the old city (among the Rajput, pink colour symbolized hospitality. On arrival at Jaipur, our representative will receive you and transfer you to Jaipur hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4 – Jaipur sightseeing
The whole day is dedicated to the discovery of the pink city. In the morning, after breakfast, proceed sightseeing tour to be visited is Amber Fort. Amber Fort is located on hilltop. Visit Amber Fort built during eighteenth century. Amber Fort houses beautiful temples and palaces, namely Visit Jasha Mandir, Seesh Mahal and Kali Temple. After visiting Amber Fort, return to the city centre for lunch. On the way, stop in front of Jal Mahal for taking few photographs. After lunch, visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). In the afternoon, visit Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory, and the imposing City Palace where the Maharaja still lives. Rooms display old objects and a collection of weapons belonging to the family. Later, browse the lively bazaars of Jaipur. There are traders, jewellers, weavers, dyers, sculptors, potters etc. After shopping in Jaipur, return to Jaipur hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5 – Jaipur- Departure
After breakfast, you will be picked up and in-time transferred to airport for your onward destination. Tour ends here.
